What this role involves

About the Position

The Associate is a developing mid-level consultant responsible for owning discipline-specific deliverables, coordinating with clients and design partners, owning and delivering small projects, and supporting the delivery of larger projects under the mentorship of a more senior engineer. In this position, you shift from primarily production-focused work to applying judgment, managing defined scope, and ensuring your work aligns with TEECOM’s standards and documentation practices.

You’ll work with your Mentor, senior engineers, and Project Leads to develop accurate, coordinated designs while building independence through strong documentation habits and consistent follow-through. You’ll design systems, prepare drawings, specifications, and calculations, and produce coordinated deliverables—either independently or with the production team.

Externally, you’ll begin developing client relationships—building trust through clear communication, reliable follow-through, and thoughtful coordination. You’ll participate in project meetings, programming sessions, coordination discussions, and construction support, helping maintain alignment with clients, contractors, manufacturers, and design partners.

Internally, you’ll contribute discipline scope input for pursuits, prepare early fee assumptions, and assist with proposal coordination. You’ll strengthen team practices by improving documentation, developing tools, and sharing lessons learned, while progressing through training journeys and structured mentorship.

This position reflects growing capability, emerging leadership behaviors, and increased accountability for delivering disciplined, well-documented, and coordinated work.

Discipline Ownership, Client Coordination, and Project Leadership

  • As an Associate, your impact comes from owning discipline-specific work, leading small projects, contributing to larger projects, and building confidence with both internal teams and clients. You contribute in three key ways:

Lead and Support Project Execution With Growing Judgment

  • You strengthen project delivery by taking ownership of discipline-specific outputs and ensuring they are accurate, coordinated, and aligned with expectations.
  • You improve design clarity and coordination by applying developing engineering judgment to resolve issues, validate assumptions, and make informed decisions with increasing independence.
  • You accelerate your growth through mentorship—actively integrating feedback and building the capability needed to take on larger scopes and more complex responsibilities.

Build Team Collaboration and Client Confidence

  • You strengthen client trust by showing up prepared, responsive, and reliable in meetings and coordination discussions.
  • You maintain alignment across disciplines by communicating clearly, closing loops proactively, and ensuring decisions and next steps are understood.
  • You enhance team performance by sharing insights, asking questions, and helping Designers develop stronger documentation and modeling habits.

Improve the TEECOM System

  • You reinforce firmwide consistency by maintaining clear, organized documentation that teams can rely on.
  • You improve project efficiency by identifying coordination or workflow gaps and offering practical suggestions that reduce ambiguity and rework.
  • You strengthen discipline processes by documenting client nuances, refining notes, and sharing lessons learned that drive continuous improvement.

What Success in this Position Looks Like

  • You deliver accurate, well-coordinated discipline designs, drawings, specifications, and calculations with consistent follow-through.
  • You complete discipline tasks for projects independently—confirming assumptions, validating decisions, and asking clarifying questions when needed.
  • You support Project Leads and senior engineers by preparing coordinated layouts, documentation, research, product evaluations, and early design narratives that strengthen project direction.
  • You manage your workload effectively by prioritizing tasks, communicating risks early, and meeting deadlines across multiple projects.
  • You apply TEECOM standards and documentation practices reliably and contribute improvements by sharing observations, raising questions, or offering documented feedback.
  • You participate actively in client meetings and coordination sessions and produce clear notes that maintain alignment and capture decisions accurately.
  • You collaborate with engineers and design partners to identify coordination issues, document impacts, and support resolution across disciplines.
  • You maintain organized, up-to-date documentation in GitHub, Design Decision Logs, Asana, and Callback One and contribute updates that enhance clarity or workflow.
  • You complete daily time and expense entries accurately and uphold disciplined habits that support predictable project delivery.
  • You model TEECOM’s Core Values—Care, Trust, and Value—through clear communication, accountability, and dependable project execution.

Engineer Web Developer at Miva, Inc.

Full-stack web developer builds and maintains eCommerce storefronts using MVT, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript while integrating client systems via APIs.

Mid Remote Posted 3 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About Miva

Since 1996, Miva has helped online sellers increase their revenue, drive sales, and decrease their overhead costs. That work has powered over $100 billion in online sales and put countless merchants in control of their own destiny. With the launch of Vexture, our new AI-powered search tool, we’re building search that understands what shoppers mean, not just what they type.

What started as a small office in San Diego has since grown into a fully remote team, with team members across the United States. Miva has been consistently named one of the Best and Brightest Companies to Work For in San Diego and in the Nation, year after year.

About the role

We are looking for a full-stack Web Developer to join Miva’s Professional Services team.

This is a client-facing delivery role: you will sit in on client conversations, translate their business needs into technical requirements, and explain tradeoffs in plain language when a client isn’t technical themselves.

You will build and maintain eCommerce storefronts using MVT (Miva’s server-side templating language), HTML5, CSS3, and vanilla JavaScript, and connect client stores to the rest of their business systems through integrations that range from modern REST APIs to legacy XML-based systems. The work spans large-scale builds, ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and project discovery across multiple client accounts. You will work closely with Project Managers and collaborate cross-functionally across Miva to turn those requirements into solutions that hit scope and timeline.

You will:

  • Scope, estimate, and execute development tasks based on approved client requirements, signed SOWs, and predefined service offerings
  • Develop, customize, and maintain eCommerce storefronts using HTML5, CSS3, and vanilla JavaScript (ES6+) within Miva’s template and configuration layers
  • Maintain deep platform knowledge to apply optimal store configurations within the Miva admin
  • Build and support integrations between Miva stores and external systems (ERPs, CRMs, payment providers, shipping systems, analytics platforms, marketing tools) using REST and SOAP APIs and legacy XML-based services, without relying on third-party libraries, including data mapping, authentication, rate limits, and error handling
  • Troubleshoot and resolve frontend, backend, and configuration issues across the platform and connected systems
  • Optimize storefront performance and conversion: Core Web Vitals, SEO (schema markup, product metadata, faceted navigation, crawlability), WCAG accessibility, and cross-browser/cross-device compatibility with a mobile-first approach
  • Configure full-funnel eCommerce analytics and GA4 tracking using GTM
  • Implement merchandising solutions such as cross-selling, dynamic product listings, personalization, and rule-based promotions and discounts
  • Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code, and participate in code reviews, QA validation, and client acceptance testing
  • Follow established deployment procedures and release schedules across multiple client environments
  • Track time against approved client work and communicate status, blockers, and scope risks as they come up
  • Perform other duties as assigned

You have:

  • 5+ years of professional web development experience, including at least 1 year in eCommerce
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (including preprocessors like Sass/LESS), and vanilla JavaScript (ES6+), with a firm grasp of the DOM
  • Working experience with PHP in a web development context
  • Experience with SQL-based databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
  • Proficiency with version control systems and Git-based workflows
  • Ability to work within defined scope, timelines, and platform constraints in a client-facing delivery environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, asynchronous team

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience implementing eCommerce storefronts on platforms such as Miva, Shopify, BigCommerce, or Magento
  • Experience integrating with external systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERPs and CRMs
  • Experience with build tools such as Webpack or similar tooling
  • Advanced knowledge of Modern PHP and Laravel, with a focus on MVC design patterns, RESTful API development, and scalable backend architecture
  • Experience using containerization or local development tooling such as Docker
  • Prior experience working in an agency or Professional Services delivery environment
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery efficiency and code quality
  • Familiarity with Agile or structured project delivery methodologies

Benefits & Compensation

  • 100% remote (U.S. based)
  • Unlimited PTO
  • 10 paid holidays
  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
  • 401(k) with a company match, vested immediately
  • Paid parental leave

The actual pay determined for an individual will vary based on job-related factors such as relevant experience and/or education, particular skills, and location.

What this role involves

Who are we?

At Leadership Connect, we believe that relationships are everything in business and in life. Founded by two former CEOs of S&P 500 companies and a former presidential press secretary, our premier information service is built for developing relationships that impact decisions in government, business, and media. Utilizing deep research expertise and cutting-edge technology, we help our clients win business and influence policy across various specialties and verticals. We are a close-knit team dedicated to helping each of our users make a difference.

Leadership Connect Canada (LCC), a subsidiary of Leadership Connect Inc., is our Canadian entity operating in the Quebec province. This opportunity requires an applicant to live and work within the Quebec province.

About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer or Senior Software Engineer to join our Entitlements Team and help design and build the applications and services that power the Leadership Connect platform.

This is a hands-on role for someone with strong software engineering fundamentals who enjoys solving product and technical problems across backend services, APIs, data, search, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems.

Our environment includes Kotlin/Java, Spring Boot, Python, AWS, Elasticsearch, and modern cloud-native technologies. We value deep expertise in at least one area, strong fundamentals, and the adaptability to become productive across technologies.

We also believe AI is changing how software is built. We are looking for engineers who use modern AI coding tools and agents to significantly increase productivity while maintaining strong engineering judgment and ownership.

Core Functions of the Role

  • Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain production applications and services.

  • Develop well-designed APIs and backend services using Kotlin/Java, Python, Spring Boot, and related technologies.

  • Work with relational and NoSQL databases, search technologies, and large datasets.

  • Contribute to distributed systems and microservice architectures running in AWS.

  • Participate throughout the development lifecycle: planning, design, estimation, implementation, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.

  • Use AI coding assistants and agents to accelerate research, planning, development, testing, debugging, refactoring, and documentation.

  • Critically review AI-generated implementations and remain accountable for quality, correctness, security, and maintainability.

  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to turn requirements into high-quality technical solutions.

  • Contribute to design discussions, code reviews, engineering standards, and development practices.

About You

  • 2+ years of professional software development experience for mid-level candidates or 6+ years for senior-level candidates.

  • Strong computer science and software engineering fundamentals through a CS-related degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • Experience designing and building production web applications, APIs, or backend services.

  • Strong understanding of HTTP, REST, API design, relational databases, SQL, data modeling, and database design.

  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin/Java with Spring Boot or a comparable JVM framework, OR Python and its modern application ecosystem.

  • Willingness and ability to work across JVM and Python technologies as needed.

  • Experience writing maintainable, well-tested production software.

  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

  • Experience with Git and modern collaborative development workflows.

AI-Augmented Software Development

AI-assisted development is an important part of how we approach modern software engineering. We are particularly interested in candidates who meaningfully use tools such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, GitHub Copilot, or comparable coding agents in their regular workflow.

We want engineers who use AI to expand what they can accomplish while retaining responsibility for understanding and validating the result.

  • Use AI to understand unfamiliar codebases, research technologies, plan implementations, write and modify code, develop tests, debug problems, refactor systems, and automate repetitive work.
  • Critically evaluate AI-generated solutions, recognize incorrect assumptions, validate implementations, and know when direct engineering investigation is the better approach.
  • Experience with repository-level agent instructions, reusable agent workflows, MCP integrations, custom tooling, or agentic development processes is a plus.

Additional Experience We’d Value

Experience with some of the following is preferred; we don’t expect every candidate to have all of them:

  • Docker or other container technologies
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Elasticsearch or other search technologies
  • Microservices and distributed systems
  • Event-driven architectures

Contact Center Implementation Engineer / Genesys Cloud CX Engineer (Consultant)

Voyage Advisory | Remote (U.S.) with up to 20% travel to Buffalo, NY

Duration: Initial 120 days (extension likely)

Engagement Type: W2 or 1099 (flexible)

Compensation: Market-competitive, based on experience

About the Role

Voyage Advisory is seeking a highly capable Contact Center Implementation Engineer / Genesys Cloud CX Engineer to support a federal client in designing, building, and optimizing their contact center platform. This is a hands-on engineering role requiring deep expertise in Genesys Cloud CX and Amazon Connect —not just from an administrative standpoint, but from a true build-and-configure perspective.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who sits at the intersection of engineering and client engagement—a technical expert who can also partner directly with stakeholders to gather requirements, lead discussions, and translate business needs into scalable solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, configure, and implement solutions within Genesys Cloud CX, including contact flows, integrations, and platform capabilities
  • Lead requirements gathering and discovery sessions with client stakeholders to identify needs and define solutions
  • Build and enhance IVR/IVA solutions, including AI and speech-enabled capabilities
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs and implement within the platform
  • Partner with client teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize workflows, and improve user experience
  • Facilitate client meetings, communicate progress, and explain technical concepts in an accessible way
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, maintainable solutions

What We’re Looking For (Required)

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with Genesys Cloud CX (required – must be core to your background)
  • Proven experience building/configuring solutions directly in Genesys Cloud CX (not just supporting or administering)
  • Experience with IVR/IVA, including AI-driven or speech-enabled solutions
  • Strong ability to gather requirements and work directly with clients/stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to balance technical execution with client-facing communication
  • Comfortable leading meetings, asking the right questions, and translating needs into action
  • U.S. Citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Ability to pass a federal background check

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Workforce Management (WFM) and/or Quality Management (QM) within Genesys
  • Experience with Amazon Connect
  • Exposure to contact center analytics, reporting, or optimization strategies
  • Prior experience working in or with federal or public sector environments
  • Experience with ACDs and CCaaS, particularly Genesys

What Success Looks Like

  • You quickly establish credibility with both technical teams and business stakeholders
  • You proactively identify gaps, ask thoughtful questions, and guide the client toward better solutions
  • You deliver clean, scalable configurations within Genesys Cloud CX
  • You communicate clearly—without overcomplicating—and build trust with the client

Why Voyage

At Voyage, we pride ourselves on bringing in consultants who are not only strong technically, but who elevate the client experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning both the build and the conversation—someone who doesn’t just execute, but helps shape the solution.
