As the Senior RSS on our team, you are a seasoned, experienced professional in regulatory and site start-up activities. Responsibilities will be dependent upon the location of the Senior RSS and include but are not limited to initial and subsequent clinical trial submission to Competent Authorities and IRB/Ethics Committees, Informed Consent Form review and adaptation, Essential Document collection and quality review, supporting sites on IRB/EC submissions and providing support to the Site Contract Management group in budget and contract negotiation.

The Senior RSS may act as Subject Matter Expert for questions by other in-country members (CRAs, CSSs or others) supporting site start-up activities, trainer for less-experienced staff on site start-up activities and may be identified as Owner of country specific tools and guidance documents to increase knowledge share of country specific site start-up activities and ensure compliance with local and international clinical trials regulations and guidelines.

Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for delivery, in terms of timeliness and quality, of site activation readiness within the assigned country/sites and foreseeing and mitigating any risks
• Preparation of Clinical Trial Application Forms as well as preparation of submission dossier (initial and amendments/notifications) for submission to Competent Authorities (CA), Ethics Committee (EC) and other applicable local bodies according to local requirements and within required timelines to obtain all necessary authorizations/approvals for the conduct of the Clinical Trial according to international and local/national applicable regulations, company SOPs and principles of ICH-GCP
• Interaction with CA/EC for study purposes and handling responses to the CA/EC
• Providing regular updates about CA and EC submissions to the Start Up Lead and/or Regulatory Lead assigned to the study and to Project Manager/Project Team as relevant
• Maintenance of project plans, project trackers and regulatory intelligence tools as it pertains to assigned responsibilities and to keep Regulatory Leadership updated
• Preparation/Support the development of study specific start-up plans, IMP release requirements and essential document review criteria
• Partner with the assigned site CRA to ensure alignment in communication and secure site collaboration
• Prepare, review and manage collection of essential documents required for site activation/IMP release
• Customize country/site specific Patient Information Sheet and Informed Consent Forms.
• Responsible for/facilitates the translation and co-ordination of translations for documents required for submission
• Maintain communication with other key functions participating to country start up i.e., Feasibility, Clinical Operations, Project Management, Regulatory, and Site Contracts management group on project specific status and deliverables
• Act as SME for collection and maintenance of site level critical path to Site Activation data points, including but not limited to Competent Authority, local IRB/Ethics Committee (EC) timelines, site contracts and budget negotiation requirements for and other required reviews to secure on time site activation for the assigned sites in the country
• When required, participate/support the negotiation of study budgets and the execution of investigator contracts under directions of Site Contract Management department/designee department
• Keep an updated knowledge of the local clinical trial laws, regulations and help distributing this knowledge within Precision for Medicine to ensure the conduct of Clinical Trials according to international and local/national applicable regulations
• Maintain audit/inspection readiness at all times and file documents as per TMF plan and/ or study specific plans in the relevant TMF
• May support the clinical team performing Pre-Study Site Visits
• May participate/support feasibility group in site outreach to assess potential interest of investigators to a potential study
• May support development of country specific Country Start-up summary and process flow identifying timelines, risks, and success factors
• May support development of training sessions to expand Country Start-up knowledge and act as Subject Matter Expert for queries
• May mentor staff on local study start-up regulations, submissions, and internal procedures
• May interact with clients to provide activation readiness status updates, request documents or document review, and participate in proposal activities, including slide development and client presentation as required
• Performs other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

Minimum Required:

• Bachelors’ degree in life sciences or related field (ideally in a scientific or healthcare discipline), or Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• 3.5 years or more as a Regulatory or SU specialist in either a CRO or pharmaceutical/ biotech industry or equivalent, relevant experience and/or demonstrated competencies
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing at the English proficiently (Professional level)

Other Required:

• Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential
• Experience using computerized information systems, electronic spreadsheets, word processing and electronic mail required
• Fluency in English and for non-English speaking countries the local language of country where position based
• Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines

Preferred:

• Relevant regulatory and site start-up (feasibility, contract negotiations, CA/EC/IRB submissions) experience for the particular country
• Experience using milestone tracking tools/systems
• Can assist junior SU specialists in problem resolution
• Advanced degree in medical or life sciences (MD, PhD, PharmD)/RAC certification/Masters in Regulatory Science

About the Role

Nium is seeking a Head of Commercial Compliance, Americas to serve as the senior Compliance partner to our commercial organization. This role will work closely with Sales, Business Development, Partnerships, Account Management, Product, and Legal to identify regulatory considerations early and enable compliant commercial opportunities across the region. This leader will act as a bridge between the commercial organization and Nium’s country compliance teams, ensuring local regulatory considerations are incorporated into commercial strategy and execution.

The successful candidate will provide practical guidance on complex enterprise relationships, particularly platforms and marketplaces that use Nium’s solutions to serve their own merchants or customers. This is a commercial advisory role focused on structuring deals, entering new verticals, and supporting responsible growth. The role will also provide compliance guidance for relationships with bank partners, card networks, stablecoin networks, and other payment infrastructure partners.

This role does not directly own regulatory relationships or license-protection responsibilities. However, the successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of these areas and apply that knowledge to provide practical guidance to commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior Compliance advisor to Nium’s commercial leadership and go-to-market teams across the Americas.
• Engage early in the sales and business-development process to identify compliance considerations and help structure viable solutions.
• Partner closely with Sales, Business Development, Partnerships, Account Management, Product, Legal, Financial Crime Compliance, and regional Compliance teams.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive experience in compliance, regulatory risk, financial crime, legal, or a related function within payments, fintech, banking, or financial services.
• Significant experience advising commercial, sales, business-development, partnership, or account-management teams.
• Experience supporting or managing compliance matters involving bank partners, card networks, stablecoin networks, or other payment infrastructure partners.
• Strong knowledge of cross-border payments, money movement, payment platforms, bank partnerships, and complex B2B customer relationships.
• Experience supporting platforms, marketplaces, embedded-finance providers, payment facilitators, or other businesses with underlying merchants, sellers, or customers.
• Deep understanding of relevant compliance areas, including AML/CTF, sanctions, KYC/KYB, customer due diligence, licensing, and payments regulation.
• Experience serving as - or working closely with - an MLRO, BSA Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, or country compliance leader.

What we look for

About the Role

Mango Languages is hiring a Corporate Counsel to support our legal function across a broad range of business matters. Commercial contracting will be a core part of the role, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating customer and vendor agreements, working with business teams to structure appropriate terms, and helping identify and address legal, financial, operational, and business risk.

The Corporate Counsel will also work on a range of additional legal matters as they arise, including intellectual property, employment law, regulatory compliance, and data privacy. The role includes conducting legal research, working with outside specialists when appropriate, and helping improve legal processes, templates, and resources, including through thoughtful use of AI to streamline work and enhance legal output. Working under the direction of the Senior Corporate Counsel, this attorney will apply judgment within established playbooks and precedent on day-to-day matters, escalating novel issues or any deviation from playbook to the Senior Corporate Counsel.

This is a growth-track role: you’ll start with core contract work, including order forms and quality assurance, as well as RFP support, and take on increasingly complex agreements and legal matters as you build familiarity with Mango’s business, standards, and playbooks.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, revise, and negotiate customer and vendor agreements, including order forms, subscription agreements, technology agreements, statements of work, amendments, nondisclosure agreements, and proposed changes to Mango’s standard forms.

• Identify and communicate legal, financial, operational, and business risks; recommend and negotiate appropriate responses; and escalate significant or unusual issues when appropriate.

• Work with colleagues across the company to structure contractual terms, confirm business arrangements, review related transactional documents, and facilitate contract execution.

• Draft and review RFPs and related responses, and provide careful quality assurance across contracts and other legal documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, completeness, and a polished final product.

• Apply and help refine existing contract templates, standard provisions, and legal playbooks; maintain accurate records, workflows, and organization of contracts and related documents

• Research and address a broad range of legal matters affecting Mango’s business, including corporate governance, employment law, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, risk management and insurance, and data privacy; collaborate with external legal specialists as needed.

• Maintain a strong understanding of Mango’s contracting standards and product offerings, participate in legal team initiatives and special projects, and perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• JD and bar admission in good standing in any U.S. state

• 5+ years of legal experience

• Strong contract drafting, review, and negotiation skills

• Sound legal and business judgment, including the ability to identify risk, recommend practical approaches, and recognize when an issue should be escalated

• Excellent attention to detail and a consistent ability to produce accurate, polished work

• Intellectual curiosity and comfort working through legal issues that may be outside your day-to-day experience

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple agreements, projects, and deadlines at once

• Clear, direct communication skills, including the ability to explain legal issues and recommendations to non-lawyers

• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Adobe Acrobat Pro; comfort working in a Mac-based environment

Interview Process

Candidates will complete a skills-based contract review assessment as part of the interview process. The exercise is designed to evaluate practical contract-review skills, judgment, and attention to detail.

About the Opportunity

We’re hiring our founding Compliance Manager to help Pair Team grow and scale responsibly. This is a rare opportunity to build a compliance function from the ground up inside a fast-moving healthcare company operating at the center of Medicaid and Medicare high needs population care management.

You’ll be the person who thrives at the intersection of rigorous regulatory knowledge and startup pragmatism: someone who understands the rules deeply enough to know where there’s genuine room to move, and disciplined enough to know where there isn’t. You won’t sit apart from the business flagging risk after the fact. You will partner directly with engineering, operations, clinical, and growth teams (and others) to design compliant processes without slowing the company down.

What You’ll Do

Program & Regulatory Compliance

• Manage day-to-day compliance with Medicare and Medicaid program requirements, including federal CMS rules, state-specific Medicaid  regulations, and value-based care contract obligations.
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate their impact into clear, actionable guidance for product, clinical, and operations teams.
• Lead responses to audits, compliance reviews, and requests from federal and state regulators, health plans, and contracting partners.
• Maintain and continuously improve the compliance program framework, including policies, procedures, risk assessments, and training programs.

Privacy & Data Compliance (HIPAA and Beyond)

• Lead for HIPAA Privacy and Security compliance, including BAA management, minimum necessary standards, and workforce training.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to evaluate data practices, new product features, and vendor integrations for privacy and security risk.
• Evolve the company’s privacy and data security with cross-functional teams.

Risk Identification & Business Enablement

• Act as a trusted advisor to business, product, and clinical teams — flagging compliance risks early and helping design compliant solutions rather than blocking progress.
• Build and maintain a compliance risk register; triage issues by severity and likelihood and prioritize remediation proportionate to actual risk.
• Create scalable, lightweight compliance processes that work in a fast-moving environment and do not create unnecessary organizational drag.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with the legal team on regulatory strategy and escalation of high-stakes issues.
• Partner with clinical operations on care delivery compliance, including documentation standards, authorization requirements, and billing compliance.
• Collaborate with the People team on compliance training, onboarding, and workforce policy development.
• Represent Pair Team professionally and compliantly in partner, health plan, and regulatory conversations.

What You’ll Need

• 3+ years of healthcare compliance experience with direct exposure to federal programs (Medicare, Medicaid, or both) and the regulatory frameworks governing them (CMS, OIG, HIPAA, FWA).
• Demonstrated ability to operate in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment — startup or high-growth company experience strongly preferred.
• Deep working knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security rules and their practical application to technology products and digital health services.
• Experience building or materially improving compliance programs, not just operating within established ones.
• Strong communication skills — able to explain complex regulatory requirements in plain language and make crisp risk/benefit recommendations to business leaders.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage projects and tasks.
• Experience supporting building processes, procedures, and workflows that enable sustainable business scaling.
• Strong collaboration skills with thought partners from clinical, operations, finance, and leadership
• Proven ability to prioritize competing demands and make risk-proportionate decisions.
• Mission-driven and passionate about improving outcomes for underserved communities

Strongly Preferred

• Experience at a digital health company, health plan, or managed care organization operating in Medicaid and/or Medicare programs.
• Familiarity with value-based care contracts, capitation arrangements, or risk-bearing entities and their compliance implications.
• CHC, CHPC, or other relevant compliance certification is a plus.
